acomodo is a new solution offering tourist marketing organizations an integrated technology to provide their clients with touristic services including online booking engine, database-driven holiday home directories for both online and printed media.

The software is completely web based, which helps organizations with multiple offices at different locations to streamline their processes and increase overall efficiency of the team. External service providers can log on to the system and manage their own data reducing the workload of the tourist marketing organizations.

The modular architecture allows flexible and quick extensibility. External systems can easily be connected to acomodo through various interfaces.

Amrum-News

The New York Times online magazine and Amrum-News have one thing in common. Both website use the WordPress blog software to power their websites. While WordPress is an open source software available for free for everyone, it is one of the most powerful applications to run blogs, news sites and content management systems.

amrum-news.de features the blog module to publish news articles, a newsticker to promote events, news archive, an image plugin to zoom into article images and a blog broadcast that readers can subscribe to receive new articles directly in their mailbox.

Fachklinik Satteldüne - Amrum

The “Fachklinik Satteldüne” is a specialist clinical center for children located on the island Amrum in the German North Sea.

The website provides detailed information about available treatments, the facilities, its location on the island Amrum, the school as well as downloads section.

Current and future patients can exchange information about the clinic in a web forum, which is fully integrated into the website and managed by members of the clinic staff. The forum is also used to announce events and news about the clinic.

Kai Quedens, painter and web designer, created design and content. SPANNIG & COMPANIONS implemented both the web content management system and the web forum.

This groupware software is a custom solution for etc. Software GmbH designed to meet the needs of IT companies. Current modules include IT support help desk with ticketing system, time tracking, task management, project documentation, and contacts.

Through the software communication among team members has become much faster, clearer, and more persuasive. Additionally, critical business data and know-how is now centrally stored in one database which can be accessed from any location over the internet.

As a result team members can now find all relevant company and client data easily and at a fraction of the time it took before. Collaboration among team members is now much easier and could be improved significantly.

Many companies still use spreadsheet software like Microsoft Excel to capture and manage worked
hours of their staff. Although spreadsheets are very flexible in usage and everyone knows how to use them, they come with many disadvantages. For example: everybody tends to use a different way of tracking his/her hours making it a time consuming task to collect, verify and transfer the data over to the accounting software.

The time tracking solution developed by SPANNIG & COMPANIONS together with “etc. Software GmbH” provides a standardized web-based interface to track and manage worked hours. Information is stored in a
central database but can be accessed from everywhere over the internet.

The software helped to reduce time spent on tracking hours by 40% and time spent on managing and processing the data in the accounting department by 60%.

As a sub-contractor to etc. Software GmbH SPANNIG & COMPANIONS contributed significantly during the concept and planning phase of the project as well as developed and implemented key modules of the software.

Amrum is a famous tourist destination at the North Sea coast of Germany.

fastest and easiest connection, for example, tools like interactive Google Maps or an online travel planner.
